Lucas Bean – President & Founder SiliconBeach Young Professionals
Lucas is an Online Marketing Executive with over 18 years of experience in developing and optimizing large-scale customer acquisition programs across all online marketing channels. Lucas currently is the Founder & Principal of Beanstalk Labs an incubator which has founded Silicon Beach Young Professionals a networking community in Southern California of 49,500 professionals in the tech space holding monthly mixers, panels and large digital summits and method[DRG] A digital content marketing company (acquired fall 2014), Promotionalizeit.com a social promotions platform (acquired spring 2014) and most recently STATAS an Influencer Marketplace where Brands can connect to digital influencers while influencers get paid to post about the brands and products they already love. Lucas served as the head of marketing for other giants such as Atari (Global), Sony Pictures and Crackle.com, Experian Lowermybills.com
Stacey Bean – Managing Director & Co-Founder
Stacey is Managing Director of Silicon Beach Young Professionals and for DISRUPT LA Tech Summit the largest freemium tech summit in Los Angeles. Stacey brings over 14 years in Advertising Agency Experience to the group working for years with such clients as Lexus, Clorox, Mattel, Samsung Citibank to name a few. She is also an entrepreneur where she has started, managed and sold her own companies in the past.”
Luan Tran – General Counsel & Board Member
Luan is one of the country’s foremost experts in tech co-founder disputes. He represented the plaintiff in ownership disputes over Snapchat, Yik Yak, and other well-known technology companies. Forbes magazine recently called him “the go-to lawyer in tech for ousted alleged co-founders.” Luan has also litigated or arbitrated disputes involving complex technologies all over the U.S. and abroad. The Daily Journal selected him as one of the “Top 20 Under 40” lawyers in California. Luan is on the Executive Committee of the State Bar of California’s Litigation Section. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the American Arbitration Association, including its international division the International Centre for Dispute Resolution. Luan co-founded Lee Tran & Liang LLP, one of few firms in the U.S. on the National Law Journal’s “Litigation Boutiques Hot List.” Luan previously practiced at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP.
Mitchell Berman – Advisor
Mitch serves as Managing Partner of Berman Strategic Advisors – a strategy and investment firm that is dedicated to finding and developing entrepreneurial companies in digital entertainment, social enterprise, mobile/PC games, mobile commerce and education technology. Mitch’s initiatives spur the creation of innovative “digital” consumer and/or business to business products and services, based on the principles of “influence, sharing and reward.”
Rachel Payne – Advisor
Rachel Payne started FEM inc. when she realized that there was an enormous opportunity in entertainment for innovation. In her prior role as Principal, Global Strategic Alliances at Google, she worked with top executives across the company to develop comprehensive strategies for their largest global media partners, including Sony, Disney, NewsCorp and Time Warner. It was in this capacity that she was able to identify a unique opportunity to serve and meet a broader set of user needs for entertainment that no one else was really considering or prioritizing.
Prior to this, she was President and Co-Founder of inDplay, a cloud-based rights and contract management service for studios that enabled rights licensing globally. inDplay was acquired in 2008 by Discovery Media Holding Company.
